For our second feature, we’re spotlighting the iconic Hollywood star, Elizabeth Taylor. Taylor is most known for her film career spanning nearly sixty years but she was also a dedicated humanitarian and businesswomxn.
Taylor made her film debut as a child actress at the young age of nine, she continued to successfully transition into adult roles that led her to win two Academy Awards and four Golden Globes over her lifetime. The Hollywood legend was also a fashion icon who never left the house without two things: fragrance & diamonds. Which led her to launch a collection of her own fragrance. Taylor was the first celebrity to create her own fragrance and the first to turn celebrity perfumes into a major, sustainable worldwide business. In collaboration with Elizabeth Arden, she launched two best-selling perfumes Passion and White Diamonds. Taylor personally supervised the creation and production of each fragrance marketed in her name. She is not only inspiring for her successful acting career and icon status but for paving the way for future fragrance business.
